My sons are not homeschooled, they go to regular/traditional schools with yearly tuition fee hikes. I know of some parents who homeschool their children and I wondered why. For some time I’ve been curious as to what benefits do they get and the effects on their children. I asked around, observed, did some research. Came to a point where I wanted to pull-out my youngest in his current grade school because of several reasons. I think it’s not bad at all, you know, to homeschool the kids, especially if you are financially burdened with all the monthly expenses. But then, it’s not an easy escape plan from all the financial stress. The education of your kids is one of the most important thing in their lives. Jeopardize it and their future will be broken.

Musings of a Mother
A good night’s sleep is vital for all the learning, playing, running, bouncing, chatting and exploring that kids seem to get up to on a daily basis. With so much physical and mental energy needed throughout the day, it’s important to help your child recuperate with a solid sleep. Here are a few simple rules to follow that will help you ensure a sound sleep for your little ones.
In the past 10 years technology has progressed in leaps and bounds. So too has the art of photography. There is nothing more meaningful to an expectant mother than to capture those special pregnancy memories on film. To be able to document through both words in a mother-to-be journal and visually in a beautiful pregnancy album is priceless. An expectant mother will go through 3 stages during her pregnancy. Each stage is more wonderful than the last and each stage provides new delights through the eye of a camera lens.
Music is all around us. Here at home, I hear it every single day. I love music more so if it’s my genre, the ’80s (now you know how old I am, lol). Love it when I hear my kids sing their fave pop songs though most of the time, my 5 year old keeps repeating the same songs over and over. Lately, he’s been tapping his cousin’s new 88 key keyboard, pretending to be a musician. On some days, we’ll see him stringing his brother’s guitar or holding the mic while singing Maroon 5’s Payphone.
I am a mother of 2 boys, one is turning 13 and the youngest is turning 5. I’m a work at home momma usually 5 days a week when I’ve met the deadlines and sometimes for a whole week when things are picking up with clients in different parts of the world. I take care of the kids and of course, the husband, as well as managing the house.
Most of the time, things at home are pretty rough more so when it’s a weekend because kids are always fighting, shouting, running, dribbling, crying and a lot more annoying things they do. I need to concentrate on writing and building templates for several clients’ websites, and when there’s chaos, my life is spinning endlessly. There are times that I’m close to tears but suppressing it because I know that I’m going to get mad after crying.
