A song that was created for someone who was going through a difficult time in life has now evolved into something that anyone who has been through tough times can relate to. Whenever we encounter problems or hardships, the tendency is to either fight or fly. This song however tells us to do the opposite: Be Still.
Banaue Rice Terraces is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Philippines. But of late suffering from soil erosion and degradation, land abandonment, and lack of interest in farming. It’s a pity because the future generation might not see its wonders if the problems are not solved. Thus, the Banaue Rice Terraces Restoration Project was formed. This project targets to restore and conserve the biodiversity and cultural practices at the site. One component of the project is to generate widespread public awareness and participation to the cause, and one of the initiatives to support this is the Banaue International Music Composition Competition (BIMCC).

Love this group of sisters, the 4TH Impact who almost made it at The X Factor UK. Sad that they didn’t bag the grand prize but happy for them because at least they’ve become popular somehow. Billboard and Dick Clark Productions announced that the video for Adele’s new single “Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” off her latest album 25 , will make its worldwide debut during the “2016 Billboard Music Awards.” The video for the song, which was co-written with and produced by Max Martin & Shellback, was shot in London and directed by Patrick Daughters (Feist, Muse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs).
Adele is currently in the midst of a sold out tour in Europe, which runs through June 15th. As previously announced, Adele will headline this years Glastonbury Festival in the UK, from June 22-26.

I really wonder how I would feel if my sense of hearing is lost. That would be seriously daunting, I guess. No one would ever want to live a life with no ability to hear. Life would then seem to be useless and very boring. With all those different instruments to play around, and the sound that turns into melody, I’ll be forever thankful that I can hear.
Though I’m not a gifted musician myself, I still love the sounds that instruments make, especially those that appear very weird and mimic the sound of the surrounding. I remember playing the different sounds a wind instrument called top didgeridoo can make. It was my first time to see it online so I tried to click the buttons that play the sounds, and it made me appreciate more the gift of hearing and the natural sounds filled my room that kicked my boredom away.
There are still many people who own those old record playing vinyls and some even buy and collect them as souvenirs of the old genre. It’s a great investment alright but of course to further enjoy the music, you need to have a turntable, well unless you plan on just storing them as display in your living room.
