MoneyGram International – Parenting from Overseas

A mother will do anything for her children – this is a proven fact. That’s why even though the separation caused by working overseas is painful, she must endure and sacrifice for the sake of her family. It’s not easy for the children as well, that’s why MoneyGram International went an extra mile and created the MoneyGram Idol Award.

One of MoneyGram Idol Awardees is Johmary Martinez, whose mother embodies the sacrifices of every OFW who has left their children behind in their motherland in order to prepare a better future for them.

LBC Express: Aming Ligaya Campaign

Behind every LBC transaction, there is an agent all too willing to assist, and a customer who pays back thru simple words of gratitude.

This is the continuing saga of Aming Ligaya, LBC’s monthly thrust of making commendable agents and their customers meet face to face so they can personally thank each other after a job well fulfilled.

Recently, Esper Tabamo, who has been working as an LBC Agent for almost three years, was able to meet in person Luzviminda Banas, a businesswoman who felt very thankful for the stellar service she was given. Banas, a regular patron of LBC, recalls calling the hotline to follow up on the status of her shipment of souvenir items. What made it stressful for her, then, was that she lost the receipt of her transaction and couldn’t provide the tracking number. It was only when Tabamo handled her concern that her worries were laid to rest.

Novartis: Systane Ultra Lubricating Eyedrops

Pinoys are known to spend more time on the net. Online workers like me spend most of our waking hours on the net. Our usual problems? Backaches and really tired eyes or dry eyes at the end of the day. I work 10 hours or more each day, gazing always at the monitor, no fun at all but it helps pay the bills.

Dry Eyes Syndrome is a common condition that occurs when your tears are unable to provide adequate lubrication for your eyes. Tears can be inadequate for many reasons. For example, dry eyes may occur if you don’t produce enough tears or if you produce poor-quality tears. DES signs and symptoms, which usually affect both eyes, may include a stinging, burning or scratchy sensation in your eyes; stringy mucus in or around your eyes; sensitivity to light; eye redness; a sensation of having something in your eyes; difficulty wearing contact lenses; difficulty with nighttime driving; watery eyes; and blurred vision or eye fatigue.
