The latest Social Weather Station (SWS) poll showed that 4 out of 10 Filipinos or 44% are “very happy” with their lives while 37% of those 1,440 surveyed said they are also “very satisfied.”

The United Nations (UN) reported in March that the Philippines ranked the 69^th happiest country in the world (out of 156). This is consistent with a Gallup survey, “which finds an increase in the percentage of Filipinos who consider their life positive enough to rate it as ‘thriving’ in recent years,” reported Forbes.
