You can either find History an interesting subject or a very boring one. History used to be such a boring subject for me until we had a wonderful History teacher. This particular History teacher transformed learning into a storytelling time for us. From then on, we looked forward to every lesson with her. Thanks to this teacher, I scored a good grade on my History subject.

This particular teacher never used the textbook. In fact, she didn’t even refer to the textbook at all and we never need to open it. Teachers play an important role in our learning. The teacher can either make learning interesting to hold the students’ attention or make the students lose concentration or even fall asleep!

Last Saturday was shopping day because HMR Trading Haus just opened their 19th branch here in Las Piñas! Imagine my joy because I don’t have to brave the traffic anymore to go to a home depot and buy stuff for our new house, it’s practically just a stone’s throw away.

HMR Trading Haus Alabang-Zapote Road is inside SM Hypermarket (used to be Makro), nearest landmark is KFC Casimiro.

But any selfie won’t do if you want to capture the grandeur of the great outdoors from atop a mountain, or those ancient ruins choked by overgrown banyan trees—with you included in the shot, of course.

Travel selfies are as much about the place as they are about you. Otherwise, you don’t get to show proof of how awesome your vacation trip was, save for a souvenir shirt or some nasty sunburn. So rather than filling the entire shot with just your face, be sure to highlight the destination in your selfie.

With that said, here are a few other tips on capturing travel selfies that will be the envy of your IG followers:

Show some action

So you got a selfie with your face beside the Eiffel Tower. Cool, but not much in the way of excitement. Try doing something to make you look like you’re having a great time, like spreading your arms wide to welcome yourself in Paris, or even eating ice cream.
