My sons are not homeschooled, they go to regular/traditional schools with yearly tuition fee hikes. I know of some parents who homeschool their children and I wondered why. For some time I’ve been curious as to what benefits do they get and the effects on their children. I asked around, observed, did some research. Came to a point where I wanted to pull-out my youngest in his current grade school because of several reasons. I think it’s not bad at all, you know, to homeschool the kids, especially if you are financially burdened with all the monthly expenses. But then, it’s not an easy escape plan from all the financial stress. The education of your kids is one of the most important thing in their lives. Jeopardize it and their future will be broken.

With increasing tuition fees and extended years of basic education, having an education plan has become even more relevant nowadays. Many parents who have made a decision decades ago to invest in a good education plan for their children, are now reaping the fruits of their hard-earned savings, thanks to Philam Life.

In May of 2016, 50,000 scholars received their education payout for the 1st semester of SY 2016-2017. This second semester, Philam Life released over 51,000 education benefit payouts to policy owners. Most of the benefit payouts were made through CTA (credit to account) as part of the company’s “ease of doing business” drive to ensure policyholders receive their benefit payments in a fast and convenient manner.

I’ve always wanted to learn about how to properly and beautifully put on makeup. Not that I am planning to pursue a career in professional makeup artistry but I just wanna look great in person and in photos especially now that selfies are trending, lol. I’ve taken a few classes actually but I feel that I need to learn more.

There are plenty of “makeup schools” but you have to choose the best in your area if you want to take it to the next level, you know, be a real pro and certified. Like for example if you’re in Phoenix Arizona, nothing beats The Skin and Makeup Institute, a top beauty school there where the most complete programs for students are available to learn how to become professional makeup artists and esthetician. Search it on google using these keywords “beauty school Phoenix” and I’m sure you won’t have trouble finding it.

Music is all around us. Here at home, I hear it every single day. I love music more so if it’s my genre, the ’80s (now you know how old I am, lol). Love it when I hear my kids sing their fave pop songs though most of the time, my 5 year old keeps repeating the same songs over and over. Lately, he’s been tapping his cousin’s new 88 key keyboard, pretending to be a musician. On some days, we’ll see him stringing his brother’s guitar or holding the mic while singing Maroon 5’s Payphone.
